    Dr. Michael Brandel graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in molecular & cell biology (Neurobiology emphasis) and psychology, and departmental honors in psychology. He completed both medical school and a master's degree in clinical research at UCSD before starting neurosurgery residency in 2019. He has broad clinical interests including tumor, skull base, cerebrovascular, and spine.
