Dr. Kligerman is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Section Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of California, San Diego. He obtained his BA from Amherst College, MD from Chicago Medical School, and did residency training at the University of Colorado. After fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Kligerman joined the section of cardiothoracic imaging at the University of Maryland. In less than 9 years since completing his training, he has published over 55 peer-reviewed articles, presented over 30 abstracts, and serves on the research committees of RSNA, STR, and NASCI. Much of his research has been focused on low-dose CT imaging and advanced reconstruction techniques. Dr. Kligerman is a lecturer in both cardiac and thoracic imaging at the American Institute of Radiologic pathology (AIRP) and has been invited to give over 200 lectures nationally and internationally.
