Dr. Hari Narayan is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an assistant professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
He specializes in cardiac imaging (echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging). As a clinician and researcher, he seeks to improve the care of cancer patients receiving cardiotoxic therapies. Additionally, he is actively involved in teaching residents and fellows in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Dr. Narayan earned his Bachelor of Arts in genetics at Rutgers University and his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College. He completed his pediatric residency training at the Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian at Columbia University, followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship and advanced fellowship training in echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. During his fellowship, Dr. Narayan was a recipient of a National Institutes of Health T32 training grant award and completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Altmetrics Details PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
