Overview

I am a project manager at University of California, San Diego (UCSD), working primarily with the departments of Moores Cancer Center (MCC) and Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences (RMAS). I am part of the laboratory of Ida Deichaite, PhD, Assistant Professor. Our research focuses on prostate and head and neck cancers to identify new therapeutic targets and prognostic tools for personalized therapeutic treatments. We use real world data with high translational potential to expedite development of new treatment options. I have been involved with project management and coordination for many translational studies. I am also part of a collaborative working group at RMAS of faculty, residents, and researchers working to identify radiation therapy biomarkers of response to address an unmet need in HNSCC cancer treatment. Our group's research is well aligned with translational objectives for RT diagnostics, and development of new algorithms to integrate radiogenomics in successful clinical treatment.
