    Dr. Hom is double Board Certified in both Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He has over 20 years of experience as an academic facial plastic surgeon.

    His specialty is treating and repairing facial injuries, reconstructing facial deformities due to trauma and cancer, improving nasal breathing and minimizing facial scars.

    In addition to his clinical practice, he is investigating new ways to improve wound healing and reduce skin scarring.

    He is senior editor of the book entitled "Tissue Healing of the Face & Neck" (which was favorably reviewed by JAMA).

    His 2nd book entitled "Facial Scars -Surgical Revision and Treatment" discusses ways to manage facial scars.
