Overview Dr. Bazzo is a primary care physician with fellowship training in sports medicine. "Early in my life I had an interest in science and a desire to work with people. As a physician, I'm able to practice medicine and help patients recover from illness and injury as well as keep them healthy. And as a member of the UC San Diego teaching staff, I'm able to stay on the forefront of the latest scientific and medical advances." Dr. Bazzo has been named a Top Doctor in family medicine by the San Diego County Medical Society and San Diego Magazine every year since 2005 and was named a Top Doctor in both family medicine and sports medicine in 2009 and 2011.
