    Dr. Aaron Schneir graduated from medical school at the University of Southern California following which he did a residency in Emergency Medicine at UC Davis Medical Center. After serving an additional year as chief resident at UC Davis, Aaron completed the two-year Medical Toxicology fellowship here at UC San Diego. Aaron was promoted to Clinical Professor in 2014 and serves as faculty in both Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology. Since 2006 he has been the director of medical toxicology resident and student education. He has written the toxicology questions for the last four volumes (VI, VII, VIII, IX) of Physician's Evaluation and Educational Review in Emergency Medicine (PEER). He lectures at and is the program coordinator for two conferences per year titled “Current Topics in Emergency Medicine” for Northwest Seminars. He is married and has two children. Outside of medicine passions include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (currently two stripe black belt), snowboarding, bodybuilding, and reading
