    I am Associate Research Scientist at UC San Diego's Qualcomm Institute, the San Diego division of the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology. My research focuses on software engineering for complex cyber-physical systems, providing innovative approaches to requirements engineering and human-computer interaction, sensor integration and acquisition of self-report data, data models and analytics, modeling languages, architectures, system deployment and evolution, quality evaluation frameworks, etc. I have applied this broad expertise in various cyber-infrastructure projects at UC San Diego in the fields of health sciences and clinical trials, large-scale oceanographic observatories, and fail-safe automotive systems.
