    Dr. von Drygalski is the Director of the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Treatment Center at UCSD (http://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/hemophilia/Pages/default.aspx) and her research interests involve basic, translational and clinical science in the field of hemostasis and thrombosis, specifically hemophilia.

    Dr. von Drygalski collaborates with Laurent O. Mosnier and John H. Griffin, Ph.D., at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, focusing on the development of novel bypassing treatment strategies, mechanisms of fibrinolysis and joint disease in hemophilia. Dr. von Drygalski maintains a clinical research program studying the aging patient with hemophilia in aspects such as hemophilic arthropathy and the hypertension of hemophilia. She is the primary institutional investigator for several international clinical trials evaluating new treatment options for patients with hemophilia. Dr. von Drygalski was the recent recipient of a National Hemophilia/Novo Nordisk Career Development Award and a Bayer Early Career Development Award.
