    Wen Jiang, MD, has been on staff at Rady Children’s Hospital since 2007. Dr. Jiang graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a BS in chemical engineering, and earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, school of medicine. Her postgraduate training included a residency in Otolaryngology and a research fellowship in molecular biology at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at St. Louis Children’s Hospital before joining our group in San Diego.

    Her clinical interests include pediatric laryngology, the treatment of congenital and acquired masses in the head and neck, as well as cochlear implantation. Dr. Jiang is the Director of the Speech Endoscopy Clinic at RCHSD. The clinic is designed to assess structural abnormalities of patients with speech disorders such as velopharyngeal insufficiency, vocal nodules, and other voice disorders. This clinic reflects Dr. Jiang’s subspecialty interest, and it meets the unique needs of children with cleft-palate-related and other isolated voice disorders.

    Dr. Jiang is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and a board certified otolaryngologist.
