    Dr. Sarah Marietti Shepherd is a pediatric urologist specializing in nephrolithiasis, spina bifida and minimally invasive surgery. Her clinical research activity is focused on the practice patterns among pediatric urologists in the management of the augmented bladder, with the goal of identifying current practice patterns nationally. She also studies the factors influencing the rate of testicular salvage in acute testicular torsion in a tertiary pediatric referral center. Dr. Marietti Shepherd completed her residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and a two-year pediatric urology fellowship at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
