    Dr. Kristen Duarte is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in the UC San Diego Department of Psychiatry. She primarily provides treatment in the College Mental Health Program, which provides psychiatric care to UC San Diego’s undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. Dr. Duarte’s clinical interests are in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)-spectrum and anxiety disorders using evidence-based treatments. She also has experience treating medically-complex cases, ADHD, depression, and trauma. Dr. Duarte treats children, adolescents, transitional age youth, college and graduate students, and diverse populations. Her research interests include the development of antisocial behavior, the development of internalizing and externalizing comorbidities, innovative treatments for OCD-spectrum and anxiety disorders, and the promotion of mental health among transitional age youth.
