    Dr. Tayer is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked at UCSD for over 20 years as a specialist in behavioral medicine, particularly chronic illness treatment, and geropsychology. She trains graduate students in these areas of psychology and is also a Disaster Psychologist, a CERT member, and has certificates in advanced nutrition and mediation training. Her practice is primarily clinical and supervisory but she does do some educational presentations to medical students and community groups throughout the year. Dr. Tayer graduated from California School of Professional Psychology with a doctorate in clinical psychology in 1996 and has been licensed in CA since 2001.
