    As an experimental/theoretical biophysicist, I am interested in development and application of high resolution optical imaging techniques for the quantitative measurements of complex biological systems and developing physical models to capture their behavior. My current research focuses on extending the depth penetration of multiphoton microscopy to enable large-scale imaging of mouse cerebral cortex, and the underlying hippocampus, with cellular resolution.
