He received a degree in Natural Sciences-Chemistry from the University of the State of Pará (UEPA, Brazil, 2016), a Master's in Organic Chemistry from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA, Brazil, 2018), and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the same institution (UFPA, Brazil, 2021). From March 2016 to October 2021 he was collaborating with the group of Prof. Dr. Milton Nascimento da Silva at the Liquid Chromatography Laboratory (Labcrol/UFPA), where he participated in projects using High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry associated with Global Natural Products Social Molecular Networking (GNPS) tools to characterize bioactive molecules in natural products. Since May 2021, he has been representing the Northern Region of Brazil at BrMASS Young Scientists, a program organized by the Brazilian Society of Mass Spectrometry. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Mass Spectrometry and Metabolomics at the University of California-San Diego (UCSD, United States) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Pieter C. Dorrestein. He has experience in the field of Chemistry, with an emphasis on the Chemistry of Natural Products, working mainly in the chemical, metabolomic and biological study of secondary metabolites with pharmaceutical and biotechnological interest.
