    I am a Postdoctoral Associate working with Prof. Nicholas Boechler in the Wave Material Interaction laboratory in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California San Diego. I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bordeaux, under the supervision of Prof. Bertrand Audoin and Dr. Thomas Dehoux. I have strong background in the fields of opto-acoustics and mechanics of materials, and my research interests are the study of: macro- to nanoscale dynamic behavior of advanced topological materials and biological media, the design of new bio-inspired and bio-derived dynamically-responsive materials with applications ranging from thermal energy transport to shock mitigation, as well as the design of new biomedical ultrasound imaging techniques.
