    Dr. Asia M.F. Takeuchi completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of California San Diego, before going on to graduate with her medical degree from USC Keck School of Medicine. She then returned to San Diego to complete a transitional intern year at Scripps Mercy Hospital, Emergency Medicine Residency at UCSD, and a Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship. She has stayed on at the University as Clinical Faculty and is also working at Kaiser Zion. Her current academic interests include continued ultrasound teaching/training/research, as well as medical student and resident education.
