Dr. Sukh Singh was born in Punjab, India, but grew up in the California central valley. He stayed in the valley, getting his undergraduate degree from Fresno State and medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. He spent the next four years learning Emergency Medicine in western Massachusetts at Baystate Medical Center, where he served as chief resident and completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound. During his fellowship year, he found a passion for teaching emergency ultrasound, having opportunities to teach around the world.
In his personal life, Sukh has zero skills in the activities that make a San Diegan a San Diegan; he cannot surf, paddle board, sail, or even swim. While excellent at land sports and activities (avid gamer, hiker, reader, movie watcher, traveler and sports fan), he hopes San Diego can teach him how to enjoy the blue part of the planet.
