    Dr. Wagner conducts translational HIV research and maintains an active clinical practice as an infectious disease specialist and HIV primary care physician. In addition to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, he also has experience in the design of research trials, molecular virology, complex data analysis, grantsmanship, and peer-to-peer dissemination. His research interests include intrahost viral evolution, clinical correlates of HIV dual infection, and mHealth for HIV prevention. He is passionate about leveraging research and education to promote better health among vulnerable populations within the community.
